Royal Enfield was on top of the NZ sales charts in June 2021 in the 250cc-1000cc motorcycle category.

Royal Enfield has become the top-selling motorcycle brand in New Zealand in June 2021 in the 250cc-1000cc category, and the brand says its retail footprint in the Asia Pacific has grown significantly in the past couple of years.

“We are absolutely delighted that we have become the number one midsize motorcycling brand in New Zealand,” Vimal Sumbly, Head Business APAC of Royal Enfield said. “Royal Enfield has intently focused on growing and leading the middleweight segment market across the world and becoming a truly global motorcycling brand.

“Since our entry in Australia and New Zealand, we have received great feedback and love from motorcycle enthusiasts. We are the guardians of what’s authentic and real for people who are trying to explore and discover themselves and the world around them. We have a strong customer base of over 8000 riders and achieving this feat is a clear testament of our growth as well as commitment to this market.

Royal Enfield’s local distributor, Urban Moto Imports (UMI), has built a robust network across key markets in Australia and New Zealand.
