Fog delays couldn’t dampen the excitement at Collie Motorplex, as racers delivered standout performances
Sunday 27th April saw the running of the ‘Synergy Surveys WA State Road Racing Championships’ Round 2 at the Collie Motorplex. The day’s proceedings were a little delayed as the circuit was shrouded in fog, but once that cleared the day was perfect for racing. Following two brief practice sessions for each class, racing got underway. However, following a serious racing incident in the second Superbike race, that race was declared with half points awarded, and the remainder of the races in the second round ran reduced laps, and the third round was cancelled due to time restraints.
