MV Agusta Imports crumbles | NEWS

MV Agusta has moved swiftly to appoint Urban Moto Imports as the new Australian distributor for its range of Italian motorcycles, following the demise of former importer MV Agusta Imports Pty Ltd.

Within days of rumours emerging of MV Agusta’s Australian distributor pulling up stumps, MV Agusta in Italy contacted AMCN to advise Victorian company Urban Moto Imports had been appointed its new Australian distributor.

Urban Moto Imports is a specialist in exotic brands and already handles the local and New Zealand importation and distribution of Bimota, EBR, Confederate, Viper and Benelli motorcycles.

MV Agusta Imports Pty Ltd was also the Australian distributor for the Zero range of electric motorcycles. The director of sales for the Asia Pacific region Phil Wilkinson said Zero is presently in the process of appointing a replacement distributor for Zero Motorcycles in Australia.

The appointment of Urban Moto Imports as Australian and New Zealand MV Agusta distributor is great news for fans of the Italian Marque waiting for the local release of the new Stradale 800.
