Exclusive 115-unit M 1000 RR Isle of Man TT tribute coming to Australia in tiny numbers, and it’s priced accordingly…

BMW Motorrad has unveiled the M 1000 RR Limited Edition Isle of Man TT, a special-run superbike limited to just 115 examples worldwide to celebrate the 115th Isle of Man Tourist Trophy in 2026.

It’s based on the BMW M 1000 RR with the M Competition package, minus the pillion package, and adds a stack of TT-specific details aimed at buyers who want outright performance with a bit more exclusivity.

The standout feature is the British Racing Green Uni Matt paint, matched with graphics based on the TT Mountain Course. BMW says selected left-hand corners are shown on the left fairing, while right-hand corners appear on the right. There’s also a matt-finish M carbon airbox cover carrying the TT course graphic and TT logo, along with a Satin Chrome-painted aluminium tank with tapes, a black Alcantara seat, black swingarm, TT branding on the rear frame, milled numbering on the top yoke and a certificate of authenticity. As with the  ‘standard’ M 1000 RR, the Special is dripping with carbon fibre additions wherever the eye falls.

BMW has also added an M Race Cover Kit, rear workstand, assembly stand mounting and an M motorcycle mat measuring 250 x 105 cm with both M and TT logos.

BMW Motorrad CEO Markus Flasch said the bike ties together the company’s TT history and its M performance range, while reflecting BMW’s racing DNA, technical precision and exclusivity.

The launch is also a reminder of BMW’s long-running connection to the TT. That story stretches from Georg Meier’s 1939 Senior TT win on the BMW RS 255 Kompressor to Helmut Dähne and Hans-Otto Butenuth taking out the 1,000 cc Production class in 1976 on the BMW R 90 S.

More recently, BMW has stayed firmly in the mix at the Mountain Course. Michael Dunlop scored a key 1,000 cc class win on the S 1000 RR in 2014, Peter Hickman delivered a Superbike, Superstock and Senior TT hat-trick for BMW in 2022, and Davey Todd added a Superbike win in 2025 on the M 1000 RR.

Peter Hickman’s outright TT lap record was set in 2023 on an M 1000 RR in Superstock trim, with a 16:36.115 lap at an average speed of 136.358 mph, or about 219.4 km/h.

In Australia, the bike is priced at $84,990 before on roads, with just four units allocated locally. BMW says demand is already well beyond that figure, with the brand currently working through an allocation process for customers.
