Mugen makes it three | SPORT

Team Mugen has confirmed it will field a three-rider line-up in the 2018 Isle of Man Zero TT event, with Honda Racing’s Lee Johnston joining Mugen regulars Bruce Anstey and John McGuinness in the dominant squad.

Johnson is no stranger to racing an electric bike around the
37.75-mile Mountain Course, riding his Victory-branded electric machine to third place in the 2015 Zero TT. The Irishman shared the podium with winner McGuinness and Anstey, both riding Mugen machinery, and it was the same year McGuinness set the current electric bike benchmark around the Mountain Course, at an average speed of 119.279mph.

For 2018, the so-called Shinden Nana machine gets revised aerodynamics to improve top speed and cooling efficiency.
