While Australia’s motorcycle market fell 8.7 percent in 2018, European sales rose 9.9 percent. The biggest markets were Italy (219,694), France (177,460) and Spain (159,946). Germany was fourth with 156,108 new bike registrations. The UK was a distant fifth with 100,439 sales, an interesting comparison to Australia’s 95,080, considering the Poms have twice our population.
