Joel Kelso sponsorship plea | MOTO3 | MOTOGP | SPORT

Aussie Moto3 campaigner Joel Kelso offering high-profile promotion for much-needed sponsorship support

Aussie Moto3 campaigner Joel Kelso has taken to social media with a sponsorship plea in a bid to keep his dream of becoming a world champion alive.

“Competing at the highest level of motorcycle racing requires a significant investment of time and money,” the post reads. “The costs associated with travel, equipment, and training can quickly add up, making it difficult for young and aspiring racers like myself to pursue their dreams. That’s why I’m asking for your support.”

In return for some much-needed support, the CFMoto Racing Prustel GP rider says he’s willing to go further than just placing logos on his gear and bike which will appear on the widespread international coverage the series receives.

“I’m happy to offer a range of promotional opportunities, including advertising space on my bike and gear, social-media shoutouts, and more.”

The 19-year-old Aussie racer has had a luckless start to his first factory contract in the Moto3 World Championship. After qualifying on the front row and a strong top-10 finish in Portugal’s season opener, contact with race winner Daniel Holgado after the chequered flag left the Aussie with a broken ankle and sidelined for following two rounds.

He’s made steady progress on his return to racing, riding through the pain to record an 18th-place finish in Jerez before a strong 11th place in last weekend’s French Grand Prix at Le Mans.
