GUINTOLI NABBED FOR SPEEDING | MOTOGP | NEWS

Suzuki test rider Sylvain Guintoli caught speeding in Mclaren Supercar

Suzuki test rider Sylvain Guintoli fell foul of the British police on Saturday at Silverstone, stopped on the way into the circuit after he was trapped at an alleged 200 km/h on the A43 approach road in his white Mclaren 570S. This was well below the £150,000-plus Supercar’s potential top end of more than 320, round about the same as his Suzuki MotoGP bike, but likely to be enough to earn a driving ban for the Britain-based French former World Superbike champion. The speed limit on dual-carriageway sections of the road is 70mph (112.6 km/h).
