13 round 2020 Superbike World Championship calendar revealed
Announced overnight by the FIM the 2020 calendar for the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship with Australia first stop on the championship roller-coaster, with the Phillip Island Yamaha Finance round from Feb 28-March 1 2020. Tickets available at Ticketek or worldsbk.com.au
World Superbikes 2020 features a 13 round two-wheel world tour which takes the world superbike fraternity to Europe, the Middle East, Australia and South America.
Changes/new additions include
- Qatar moving from the last round to the second round from March 13-15, after Australia
- Germany back on the calendar with WorldSBK returning to the Oschersleben circuit after 16 years, July 31 – August 2
- First time on the calendar, Spain’s Barcelona for the Catalunya round, September 18-20
- Argentina wrapping up the year, awarded the grand final on October 10-12, 2020
