Casey Stoner’s name is synonymous with MotoGP for good reason.

Casey Stoner and Chris Vermeulen revisit the iconic Phillip Island Circuit.

With his first win on home soil in 2007, Casey Stoner had six consecutive wins at Phillip Island, with 2012 marking the final time he’d race at Phillip Island.

As fans prepare to make their return to the Animoca Brands Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, to mark the tenth anniversary since Casey’s last race on Australian soil, we decided to take him back to The Island, back to the place that cemented his status as a legend.

Alongside friend and MotoGP race-winner, Chris Vermeulen, the two icons made the trip from Melbourne to Phillip Island on the back of a pair Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Pros, sharing memories of a combined 13 Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix starts and the secrets to being quick at The Island.

Return to the Island gives you a glimpse into the mind of a two-time World Champion, a man described as a genius in the way he attacked the Phillip Island Circuit.

It’s only 3 more weeks to the start of the Australian MotoGP at Phillip Island starting 14-16 October.
