Yamaha Racing Team (YRT) has announced it has mutually agreed to part ways with Max Stauffer, effective immediately. Yamaha Motorsport Manager, Scott Bishop,  acknowledged Stauffer’s contributions, citing his passion, professionalism, and determination throughout his tenure.

“Max has been a great ambassador for Yamaha,” said John Redding, Yamaha Racing Team Manager. “We’ve appreciated his efforts and commitment during his time with us, and we part ways on the best of terms. His future is bright, and we look forward to seeing what he achieves next.”

Although Stauffer will no longer race under the YRT banner, Yamaha confirmed it will continue to support him from a brand perspective, reaffirming its belief in his talent and excitement to see his racing journey continue with Yamaha backing.

Stauffer currently sits 7th in the Australian Superbike Championship standings on 147 points.
