Ducati has unveiled a new addition to its Multistrada range during the second episode of its 2024 World Première event, with the addition of the new Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour bringing the total number of V4 Multistrada models to five.

The new Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour is based on the Multistrada V4 S and is equipped as standard with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), additional LED lights, heated grips and heated seats.

The Grand Tour also comes with factory fitted 30-litre colour-coded panniers providing 60-litres total storage space, a centrestand, as well as several updates adopted on the brand’s V4 Rally.

As with the Rally, the handlebar is mounted rigidly on the steering head for a more ‘direct’ feel through the ’bar and the Grand Tour also uses the more comfortable pillion seat from the Rally. To improve thermal comfort, the Grand Tour adopts heat shields on the swingarm and on the left side of the rear subframe, and closable ducts in the leg area, while the smartphone compartment is now ventilated.


As on all models in Multistrada V4 family, the Grand Tour is also equipped with the navigation system based on the Phone Mirroring solution which allows you to transform the 6.5″ TFT dashboard into a colour map navigator with all the necessary information for riding the motorcycle.
On the Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour there is the Minimum Preload function, which allows the rider to lower the bike when stopping and when travelling at low speed, reducing shock absorber preload to a minimum. The Easy Lift function, on the other hand, reduces the effort required to lift the bike from the sidestand by opening the suspension hydraulics when the key is ON.

The Grand Tour runs the same 1158 cc V4 Granturismo engine delivering a claimed 125kW (170hp) of power at 10,500rpm and 125Nm of torque at 8750rpm.

The electronics package of the Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour uses a six-axis inertial platform (IMU) which manages the operation of the cornering ABS, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Lights (DCL) and Vehicle Hold Control (VHC), which makes restarting on hills easier. The inertial platform also communicates continuously with the Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) semi-active suspension control system. This system is not only capable of analysing riding conditions and adjusting the fork and shock absorber hydraulics instantly, but for the first time it also integrates the Autolevelling function.



Autolevelling recognises the bike’s set-up and adjusts it autonomously to bring the seat back to the ideal height from the ground in the different riding configurations, adding to the (manual) options already available to the user: rider, rider plus cases, rider and passenger, rider and passenger plus cases.



Finally, the smartphone mirroring functions, implemented through the Ducati Connect system, allow for control of a phone and music in a simple and intuitive way.



The Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour is set to arrive in early 2024 carrying a ride away price of $45,200 in Australia and $45,542 in New Zealand.
