AMCN supports Blessing of the Bikes | EVENTS

This year’s annual Blessing of the Bikes at Phillip Island will be held at the San Remo foreshore on Saturday 20 October, and your favourite magazine is adding a dash of ballistic to the event with the Australian Motorcycle News Lukey Luke Stunt Show.

The popular MV Agusta Australia & New Zealand-supported showman has a long association with AMCN, and Fred Gassit claims to have taught Lukey everything he knows – so what could possibly go wrong?

Now in its fifth year, the Blessing of the Bikes is organised by the owners of Cape Woolamai’s popular Inline 4 Café, Marcel and Sabine, and is expected to attract thousands of riders this year, and Lukey plans to keep them entertained throughout the day on his MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR.

“I can’t wait to get out there and shred tyres!,” Lukey told us. “I absolutely loved this bike! When I rode the Brutale 800 RR at Phillip Island it was bog-stock (but) I’ve made some mods that will enable me to get up to my usual hijinks.”

MV Agusta Australia has been an avid supporter of Blessing of the Bikes, and AMCN is looking forward to throwing its support behind Lukey Luke and Marcel and Sabine’s unique and popular event. See you there!
