Aussie young gun completes the 2027 MotoGP line-up ahead of the championship’s transition to all-new 850cc machinery
Tech3 has confirmed Senna Agius will join the team for the 2027 MotoGP season, completing the 22-rider grid for a landmark year as the championship ushers in a new era of technical regulations.
After finishing runner-up in the Moto2 European Championship in 2022 before taking the title the following year, Agius stepped into the Moto2 World Championship in 2024 and claimed a podium in his rookie season. Since then, he has continued to build his reputation as one of the class’s standout prospects, collecting multiple wins and podiums ahead of his move to the premier class.
Agius will line up alongside Luca Marini in Tech3’s 2027 rider pairing, giving the squad a blend of youth and experience as it begins the next phase of its partnership with KTM and prepares for MotoGP’s incoming rules and machinery changes.
