The 2027 MotoGP calendar has been revealed, with Adelaide one of two new venues to debut next year
Adelaide’s place on the 2027 MotoGP calendar has been confirmed, with the new Adelaide Street Circuit to host the penultimate round of the season on November 14.
The South Australian event will bring MotoGP into the heart of the city for Round 21 of the 2027 championship, leaving only the Valencia finale on November 28 to follow.
MotoGP’s much-anticipated debut in Adelaide is one of the headline additions to the 2027 calendar, which features 22 Grands Prix and marks the beginning of a new era for the sport with the introduction of 850cc technical regulations. The championship will again stretch across five continents from March to November, with Adelaide’s place as the penultimate round meaning the new street circuit could play a decisive role in crowning champions. The ability of teams and riders to adapt quickly to the new challenges provided by the unique city circuit could be crucial to determining the outcome of title battles.
Adelaide is one of two new venues on the 2027 MotoGP calendar, alongside Buenos Aires, which will host Round 4 on April 11.
