looking back at 2025, the biggest thing I’m taking away is how important it is to focus on the positives. Racing gives you plenty of chances to pick yourself apart, but at the end of a long season, what actually matters are the steps forward – and there were plenty this year. Every time I rolled out onto the track, I gave it everything I had, and that’s something I’m really proud of.

This season was huge in a very practical sense: a lot of travel, a lot of riding, a lot of learning and a lot of growing as a racer. It wasn’t always smooth, but every weekend taught me something, and the progress was real. I dedicated my whole life to this and, looking back, I can see how far I’ve come.

The year kicked off at Chang International Circuit in Thailand, where I got to ride for AMCN on what I honestly think is the best bike on the planet, Ducati’s Panigale V4 S. Starting the season there was a fantastic way to set the tone; the track, the bike, the speed… it reminded me why I love this sport so much.

Next came Donington Park in the UK, where I lined up for my first-ever WorldWCR wildcard. That weekend was an incredible opportunity to test myself on the world stage and learn from some of the best riders around. Later I got to ride at Jerez in Spain with the Carl Cox Motorsport team. They reached out because they saw my potential and wanted to support another Oceania girl, an opportunity I was so grateful for. These trips challenged me in different ways and gave me experiences I’ll carry with me forever.

Back home, the ASBK season was full-on. Long travel days, mixed weather, tight schedules and plenty of excitement. This year I also had the privilege of being the only female rider in the field, which comes with responsibility but also a lot of pride. It’s a male-dominated sport, but I proved to myself that I can run up the front and belong there. If I can inspire younger girls to get involved in racing, that’s just as rewarding as any finish on track.

I finished the year P6 in the ASBK SSP300 championship, which I’m really proud of. My goal was to achieve a championship podium, and while I didn’t quite hit that, finishing P6 shows the consistency and pace I’ve built this year. It also highlighted where I can improve during the off-season; staying sharp at the pointy end and strengthening my mentality so I can continue to make smart, fast decisions under pressure.

On the performance side, I’m especially proud to have been the second-highest scoring race winner in the SSP300 class. That’s a reflection of the hard work and focus that went into every weekend, not just the standout ones.

Off the track, I was lucky to be part of so many media events, especially through collaborations with Motorcycling Australia. I got to chat with legends like Steve Martin and Chris Vermeulen, ride jetskis at Phillip Island with WorldSBK riders, wake up to sunny Spanish mornings during WorldWCR rounds, and race at home in what I truly believe is the best country in the world. Being part of these moments reminded me how much the sport has given me and how much I love being able to give back. If I can help make racing a little more accessible and inspiring for younger girls, that’s something I’m really proud of.

There were also countless smaller moments that made this year special. When bike set-ups clicked, when lap times improved, when everything finally came together on track… those are the moments that make the hard work worth it and keep the passion alive.

Before I wrap up, I want to say a huge thank you. To my friends and family: thank you for your constant support, encouragement and love through long travel days and tough weekends. To my sponsors: thank you for keeping me on track and for building partnerships that let us grow together. To my competitors: thanks for the exciting and challenging racing that pushed me to be better. And to all of you reading these AMCN columns: it truly means the world that you’re following along with slices of my life every few weeks. If my perspective helps make the sport more open and welcoming, that’s a contribution I’m proud to make.

So that’s 2025! A year full of growth, milestones and incredible experiences. I’m ending it feeling more confident, more motivated and more excited than ever. Bring on 2026!
