TAKE THE HIGH ROAD: WALCHA MOTORCYCLE RALLY | Events

Tickets go on sale for the annual Walcha Motorcycle Rally

It’s time to get your motor running and take the high road to the Walcha Motorcycle Rally in 2021. The inaugural event was halted last year by the pandemic, but Walcha is coming back bigger and better for 19 and 20 November 2021.

The annual Walcha Motorcycle Rally is a grass roots event that will provide the perfect opportunity to get together and enjoy Walcha’s friendly hospitality, stunning natural surrounds and amazing rides.

Walcha sits at the crossroads of two of Australia’s best rides, including the Oxley Highway, making it a go-to destination for touring motorcyclists. The Walcha area also boasts 590kms of gravel roads for Adventure Riders to explore.

“Tickets have recently gone on sale and we have already had a great amount of interest in the event, with motorcycle enthusiasts coming from far and wide”, Walcha Tourism Manager, Susie Crawford said. “Tickets can be purchased for a Day Pass or Two Day Rally Pass along with Add-ons including Merch Pack & Extra’s as well as Camping. Complimentary optional organised rides can also be booked when purchasing your tickets”. Mrs Crawford said.

The program of events and activities will take place in the country town of Walcha, at the showground hub and surrounding areas over Friday 19 and Saturday 20 November 2021. Program highlights include guided road rides, supported adventure rides, show & shine of motorcycles and hot rods, freestyle stunt rider demo’s, wood chop demo’s, BackTrack dog jumping, demolition derby, Ag Bike competition, trade stalls, bar, good food and more..

There is camping available at the showground for a flat rate of $30 per person (up to 3 nights). If you want a more up market camping experience, glamping can be booked through the website also. A free town loop shuttle bus will also be provided so that attendees can enjoy all the wonderful things that are on offer in Walcha during the Rally.

Arrive Thursday evening for welcome drinks, use Sunday to ride some more great roads in the area or make your way slowly home.
