Nine-bike line-up planned across key road and adventure segments
QJMOTOR is set to enter the Australian market in October, with the Chinese manufacturer confirming a nine-model launch range that will cover Sport, Roadster, Adventure and Cruiser categories.
The initial line-up has been pitched at a wide spread of riders, with both learner-approved and full-powered models included across several of Australia’s most popular market segments.
Confirmed for launch are the SRK 921 RR and SRK 800 RR supersports, the SRK 800 naked, SRK 600 RS (LAMS) sport, SRK 600 (LAMS) naked, SRT 900 SX, SRT 600 X (LAMS) and SRT 450 RX (LAMS) adventure models, and the SRV 600 V2 (LAMS) cruiser.
QJMOTOR Australia says dealer appointments are now underway ahead of the October arrival, with a national network being assembled to support the rollout.
“QJMOTOR has grown rapidly into one of the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturers, and we’re excited to introduce the brand to Australian riders,” said Clint Davis, Managing Director of QJMOTOR Australia.
“We believe the combination of modern engineering, advanced technology and exceptional value will resonate strongly with Australian riders across multiple market segments.”
Among the more notable models in the launch range is the SRK 800 RR, a supersport machine tied closely to QJMOTOR’s international racing activities. The company’s factory racing team currently competes on the SRK 800 RS in the FIM Supersport World Championship, while QJMOTOR also has a presence in the Moto2 World Championship, underlining its broader investment in performance and racing development.
The Australian launch range also includes the learner-approved SRV 600 cruiser, which brings a more traditional V-twin layout to the local LAMS cruiser category. It will be joined by the SRT 450 RX and SRT 900 SX adventure models, aimed at riders looking at lightweight adventure and adventure-touring options.
QJMOTOR’s expansion is backed by Geely Holding Group, the large automotive parent company that also has interests including Geely, Volvo, Polestar, Lotus, Zeekr and London EV Company.
The manufacturer is based in Wenling on China’s east coast, where its Eastern Smart Manufacturing Park uses automated production systems, digital traceability, integrated logistics and digitally monitored quality control.
Local pricing, final specifications, dealer locations and exact availability are expected to be announced closer to the October launch.
