Simpson Snatches Victory in Tight Supersport 300 Battle
Jordy Simpson took a thrilling Race 2 win in the Supersport 300 class, edging out Hudson Thompson by just 0.018 seconds in a nail-biting finish at Phillip Island. Scott Nicholson completed the podium, a mere 0.031 seconds behind Simpson in a race where the top five were separated by less than half a second.
Valentino Knezovic narrowly missed out on a podium but secured fourth place, while Oliver Short claimed fifth after a hard-fought contest. Tara Morrison put in another strong performance, finishing sixth and keeping herself well in the mix with the front runners.
With the top riders pushing each other to the limit, the championship battle is already shaping up to be a cracker.
