Manzi penalized after crossing line first, as Bendsneyder delights Dutch fans with another podium finish
Can Öncü (Yamaha bLU cRU Evan Bros Racing) was the eventual race winner in a true rider-to-rider battle with a fellow Yamaha competitor, Stefano Manzi (Ten Kate Racing Yamaha). It took a big inside overtake, one that put Manzi in the position of rolling off or riding beyond the track limits for the race to be finally decided.
Manzi did not give way, crossed the line first, but also ran onto the inside of the infamous final chicane, and was automatically demoted one position for going too wide.
In third place, Race One winner Bo Bendsneyder (MV Agusta Reparto Corse) was again the darling of the local crowd, with Valentin Debise (Renzi Corse Ducati) his shadow in fourth.
Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing VerdNatura Ducati) passed Marcel Schrötter (WRP Racing Ducati) for fifth place, while the now 636cc Kawasaki of Jeremy Alcoba had a lonely final run into seventh place.
Rookie rider Aldi Mahendra (Yamaha bLU cRU Evan Bros Racing) was eighth, Federico Caricasulo (Motozoo ME air racing MV Agusta) ninth and Corentin Perolari (Honda RACING World Supersport) closed out the top ten.
Tom Booth-Amos (PTR Triumph Factory Racing) crashed out, restarted and then finished 15th.
In the points Manzi has 125, Bendsneyder has 111 and Booth-Amos 84.
