MotoGP aero and engine boost is tamed by predictive electronic rider aids.

With a claimed 220hp (164kW), the 2025 Aprilia RSV4 and RSV4 Factory are now the world’s most powerful standard production bikes – thanks to a power hike achieved via new throttle bodies and a revised exhaust.

The RSV4 gets 52mm throttle bodies, up from 48mm, while the catalytic converter is repositioned in a tweaked exhaust system.

A wheelie control joins the already-strong set of IMU-controlled rider assists, which the factory says analyse onboard data to anticipate what the bike is about to do next. In effect the bike learns the rider’s style.

The Factory model, with its electronic Öhlins suspension, gains GPS-based, corner-by-corner traction control and wheelie control adjustment for track use, letting you
pre-set your preferences for each section of a circuit.

MotoGP-style winglets are part of a redesign that also includes a new fairing and a reshaped tail. This is claimed to improve the coefficient of drag by 6 percent and reduce the tendency to wheelie by 8 percent compared to last year’s bikes.
