Fastest to every waypoint,  Toby Price has taken the win on stage 11 of the Dakar Rally. Price now moves up to third in the overall standings, Following the retirement of Joan Barreda who had been Walkner’s closest challenger at the start of the day.

After inheriting a healthy 39-minute lead on Tuesday, Walkner was only fifth-fastest on Wednesday, giving away 11 minutes to KTM teammate Price.

Fellow Australian Rodney Faggotter  finished in 16th Position, and Scott Britnell finished up in 97th position
