‘Thriller Miller’ poised to become just the 10th rider ever to reach the double-century milestone
Jack Miller is set to make his 200th MotoGP start this Sunday at the Estrella Galicia 0,0 Grand Prix of Brazil, becoming only the 10th rider in history to reach the milestone. The landmark comes as MotoGP returns to Brazil for the first time since 2004, with Goiânia welcoming the premier class for the first time since 1989.

For Prima Pramac Yamaha, the weekend represents another important step in developing and understanding its new package. With the circuit new to all riders in the current field, track time is at a premium as the team looks to build knowledge in conditions that are, initially at least, the same for everyone. Miller and teammate Toprak Razgatlıoğlu will both be discovering the circuit’s demands for the first time, while continuing the work from the opening round.
Miller is eager to get back on track and add to the team’s growing database, particularly with tyre management expected to play a key role.

“I’m really motivated to get back on track and continue the work we started. It’s a new circuit for everyone, which makes it interesting because it gives us all a bit of a reset. We’ve done as much homework as we can over the past weeks, but until you actually ride the track, you never really know what to expect. The key will be to take it step by step, focus on the set-up and keep building our understanding of the bike. We also know tyre management is going to be important, especially after what we saw in the last race, so that’s definitely something we’ll be keeping a close eye on throughout the weekend,” Miller said.

Weather could add another layer of unpredictability, with rain forecast across all three days, increasing the importance of adaptability and clear feedback as Prima Pramac Yamaha continues its progression through the early stages of the season. For Miller, it all sets the stage for a landmark weekend, with his 200th MotoGP start arriving at a circuit returning to the championship after decades away.
