Australian Alma Pramac Ducati rider Jack Miller narrowly missed his chance to get through from Q1 to Q2 after being top Ducati in FP4 when he crashed on his fastest lap.
“I’m really disappointed. It’s made hard work for us,” he said; adding that a good race was still on the cards, because his pace on used tyres was good.
“There’s some little things, but the bike is working well, and I feel good on it.
“But I’m struggling with new tyres. On full lean angle with the gas on, it got away from me. I tried to pick it up with my elbow … but I’m not Marc Marquez.”
