Ducati wins in Japan with historic first victory in the All Japan Road Race Championship.

Not only did the Italian manufacturer take its first win at Motegi with the Ducati Team Kagayama Panigale V4 R, but in an ominous sign for the Japanese manufacturers, Ducati rider Ryo Mizuno also took the pole position and fastest race lap in the fifth round of the All Japan Road Race Championship.

The win was the first victory for a non-Japanese manufacturer in the JSB1000 Championship at Motegi, which was held over the weekend 24-25 August.
