Quotes from out boys at Brno, where a solid weekend for Miller was offset by injuries and technical issues for our lads in Moto2 and Moto3

Jack Miller (Sprint: 12th. Race: 10th)
A solid weekend for Jack after qualifying 10th. “Decent start. Felt pretty good. We were pretty conservative. Just unsure really on tyres. Bike felt decent enough, same situation, it was very difficult to fight with the other boys. But I got into a rhythm behind Jorge and felt good until seven laps to the end. I swapped the engine brake, at the same point as that I started suffering a lot into corner three braking. The clutch was binding up and giving me no engine brake into there. And I left myself vulnerable for both Brad and Pol to get through on me. Not happy with the last three laps. But anyway, it was a decent race.”

Senna Agius (Result: 15th)
This was a weekend that promised so much after Senna showed brilliant pace on Saturday morning before qualifying sixth. But after getting sandwiched between two Marc VDS runners in Turn 1, he encountered technical difficulties that limited him severely. “That didn’t go as expected,” he said. “I had inexplicable problems from the first lap. It was strange because it was something I hadn’t felt before this season. It destroyed my race, even though I tried to adapt to the problems as best I could, but nothing worked. I couldn’t overtake, I couldn’t open the throttle, and I couldn’t ride my pace like I showed on Saturday. It’s very frustrating and I’m quite disappointed with today because we had great potential.”

Joel Kelso (Result: DNS)
A rough way to end the first part of the season. Joel had a massive Turn 1 highside on Saturday morning which ruled him out of racing. “We already had a crack at the bottom of the tibia in the right foot,” he said. “Now I have another fracture there… I can’t walk or put weight on it. I wanted to ride but the medics decided it was too much of a risk.” On his first half of the season, he said, “Overall, it’s been a great first half. We only struggled at a few races. Even there we were seventh or eighth. Three podiums and close in Qatar. I’m sure we can come back and get more podiums on the board.”

Jacob Roulstone (Result: 14th)
A frustrating weekend for Jacob who lost nearly all track time on Saturday due to a mechanical issue. He then had his best qualifying cancelled due to a yellow flag, leaving him 14th on the grid. He then ran into familiar issues with the front the following day. “I’ve been struggling with confidence on the front when trying to attack. The bike started playing up on Saturday with the same engine issue as Aragon. It’s apparently something out of my mechanics’ control. Before the race we’d only done five laps in the dry. I’m trying my hardest. My starts are better, my first laps are better. To have zero confidence where I need confidence is something that’s letting me down.”
