APRILIA RS 660 EXTREMA FIRST LOOK | MANUFACTURER NEWS

Aprilia RS 660 Extrema has been unveiled at EICMA

The Aprilia RS 660 Extrema is the sportiest and lightest RS 660 in the range due to its refined and new standard equipment. It weights in at a mere 166kg kerb weight, and with 100hp it has a more an adequate power to weight ratio.

Standard equipment includes a lighter street-legal exhaust system by SC Project with carbon silencer which has been moved to the right side instead of beneath the engine. The front guard and redesigned engine under cover are both made of high quality carbon, further contributing to the weight reduction.

Built for the track

Although not designed to be a full time track bike like the RSV4 Xtrenta , the sportiness of RS 660 Extrema is emphasised by the single-seat tail fairing although a passenger seat is supplied with the bike. The standard adjustable electronics include traction control, cornering ABS, engine brake, engine map, and wheelie control and now also has software to set up quick shift in upside-down configuration. This means that the gearbox can be configured completely autonomously, without replacing any bike component, in street or race version – ideal for track days.

Due to arrive in Australian dealers late 2023 – Contact your local Aprilia dealer for prices.
