The Oxley Highway is one of the world’s best motorcycle roads, with more than 300 corners, minimal traffic and plenty to see and do along the way.
An all-time favourite route for many Aussie riders, the Oxley is your classic mountain road, climbing up the Great Dividing Range from Port Macquarie to Walcha before heading into Western NSW.
It’s as accessible from Sydney as it is from Brisbane, and it forms the basis for a number of fantastic two- or three-day riding loops.
As good as the riding is, the Oxley also gives you the beauty of old-grown forests, accommodation options full of character, some stunning sightseeing stops and a escape from the business of so many of the country’s other roads.
