Official 2019 ASBK Calendar | EVENTS

2018 was a year filled to the brim with action a plenty for the Yamaha Motor Finance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul Pirelli (ASBK) and 2019 is set to raise the bar even higher. It is with great pleasure that Motorcycling Australia officially releases the 2019 ASBK Calendar!

The ASBK season will be kicking off in February for the Official ASBK Pre-Season Test at the world-famous Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit from 2 – 3 February. The Championship will then start in earnest back at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit from 21 – 24 February. The ASBK opening round will run in conjunction with the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship (WSBK), Yamaha Finance Australian Round. The National Championship then returns to its first standalone round of the year as riders and fans head North to the iconic Wakefield Park Raceway in New South Wales for Round 2, from 22 – 24 March.

After an excellent maiden voyage in 2018, ASBK returns to The Bend Motorsport Park in South Australia for Round 3 from 26 – 28 April. The state-of-the-art motorcycle facility is sure to deliver riders, teams and fans alike another exhilarating action-packed round.

ASBK will then move up North to Queensland for Round 4 from 5 – 7 July at the fan favourite track, Morgan Park Raceway, where strong crowds have greeted the ASBK riders every year. Our competitors will then head to Winton Motor Raceway, Victoria for Round 5. Winton Motor Raceway has held a long history with the ASBK in Victoria and will no doubt put on a special show for the fans and riders alike on 6 – 8 September.

The penultimate round for the ASBK will be held on 4 – 6 October at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit. If the 2018 season is anything to go by, it will be a thriller, bursting at the seams with tension and excitement as our competitors fight their way to the top of the leader board before the season finale.

To draw the season to an end, the seventh and final round of the ASBK 2019 season will be held at the Sydney Motorsport Park, New South Wales from 1 – 3 November. Sydney will be the perfect location in which to crown our Champions and close off the year on a high.
