Lorenzo and Pol Espargaro passed fit | MOTOGP | SPORT

Two Spaniards will be on track in Buriram after picking up injuries last time out in Aragon

After sustaining injuries at the Gran Premio Movistar de Aragon, both Jorge Lorenzo (Ducati Team) and compatriot Pol Espargaro (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) have been passed fit to race at this weekend’s PTT Thailand Grand Prix.

Espargaro’s weekend in Aragon ended on Saturday morning after a crash in FP3 left the Spaniard with a re-occurring fracture to his left collarbone – the same injury he picked up in his Brno crash. Meanwhile, Lorenzo’s race lasted just one corner after the polesitter highsided at Turn 1, leaving the five-time World Champion with a dislocated first toe, and a fractured second metatarsal.

However, after undergoing medical checks in Buriram, thankfully we’ll be seeing both riders on track.
