Yamaha Team Rider Glenn Allerton has sustained a suspected broken arm in a single-bike crash during practice for the second round of the Australian Superbike Championship and Goulburn’s Wakefield Park circuit. Witnesses reported seeing the rear of Allerton’s #14 Yamaha slide sideways as he entered the final corner of the circuit leading onto the main straight. The bike then high-sided Allerton high into the high air, landing awkwardly on his arm. The former three times Australian Superbike champion was taken to the Goulburn Hospital for observation.
