Indian Recalls Roadmaster Motorcycles due to Wiring issue | NEWS

Indian Motorcycle Company is recalling 2015-2018 Roadmaster motorcycles.

What are the defects?

The trunk jumper harness used on Roadmaster models was manufactured without silicone plugs that are intended to keep water out of the unused connector terminals. This may allow water ingress and potential corrosion.

What are the hazards?

Corroded wires may cause erratic tail/brake light operation from both the trunk and fender lights, posing an accident hazard to the rider and other road users.

What should consumers do?

Owners are advised to contact their authorised Indian Motorcycle Dealer to arrange an inspection of the affected bike for corrosion and an updated jumper harness if required.
