The Ducati Owners Club of Queensland TRACK DAY – DUCATI OWNERS CAN TAKE IT TO THE TRACK | Events

The Ducati Owners Club of Queensland (DOCQ) 40th anniversary celebrations

As part of its ongoing 40th anniversary celebrations The Ducati Owners Club of Queensland (DOCQ) is holding a “Ducati-Only” Track Day on Saturday 30 September at the recently resurfaced Morgan Park Raceway near Warwick.

This will be relaxed track experience rather than a hard-core race day, so whether you’re a first-timer or an old hand on the track, if you own a Ducati then this is the event for you. Places are limited to 75 in total with riders split into 3 groups of 25 according to skill level. This means you can ride at your own pace with riders of similar level. Each group can expect at least 6 x 15 minute sessions over the day with a 30 minute lunch break and the sandwiches are on DOCQ.

Gates open at 7.30am, first group is on track by 9am and the day wraps by around 4pm.

All track operations from sign-on, to scrutineering and marshalling will be professionally managed by the Motorcycle Sportsmen of Queensland (Sporties). It’s not a coaching day, but a number of Sporties coaches are marshalling and will lend advice where possible.

A Pirelli tyre service will be available with pre-ordering advisable. Contact Dave Fuller at Pirelli on 0402 915 567. Queensland Ambulance Service will be present trackside.

For further info contact DOCQ Organiser Grahame Chambers 0404 085 634 or www.docq.com.au or register direct at www.motorcyclesportsmen.com.au and follow the prompts.
